Happy Howloween!!

Woofs first party!!

Wow!!! Where do I start? We could not believe the response to our Halloween costume party for our daycare goers

We had a record 20 doggies in our daycare. 10 on our Woofers level and 10 in our Wagglers level.

The costumes were spectacular and hilarious. We had Super heroes, a tissue box, a pumpkin, a hotdog, a cowboy and many more. The dogs had a blast and played hard all day. We had bobbing for hotdogs (or special treats for our allergy dogs). What a riot!!! We took pictures of all of our little ones and this weekend our clients get to decide who wins the grand prize for best costume. I have to say that the staff all decided we could not choose as we loved them all and so we decided to make it an online vote We all had our favorites but please how do you decide?

When our Waggler Tissue showed up in a box of tissue there were no words!!! We could not believe the originality of the parents making a Kleenex box for him Nemo as a hotdog was hilarious…although I do admit he was not the happiest dogger in the bunch. I was in stitched when Piper came strutting in as a clown and Mickie’s dad came after work to enter him in as a Ninja turtle!!! Toby also came after work as a teeny tiny ladybug…so cute!!!

We truly all love our dogs and they worship us. It is all in fun and they all had a blast. They are our furry family members and I always knew how much they are all loved but when we had so many participating in our party I lost all words. They are all special families and very lucky and special dogs. FYI we felt pretty special as a few of our clients made Halloween treat bags, cupcakes and cookies for all the Aunties…THANKS..(MMMM)

We can hardly wait until the winner is announced. Woofs was also very lucky in sharing the event with the media. I guess we are not alone in wanting to see the furry ones dressed up. CTV, CBC, Global, the sun, free press and the Lance all came by to check it out.

To all our families thank you so much. The love is amazing and thanks for letting us love your dogs!!! We can hardly wait for Xmas and another reason to have a party and celebration. We are already coming up with ideas to celebrate and give back to our community!!!
