Hi Everyone!

Hi Everyone.

There is so much to talk about

I started giggling today as Auntie Allex was singing to her “kids”. I always catch her!!! One day I will tape it and share it with everyone (secretly of course).

I was away last week and I know I am certifiably crazy. While I was away I saw a “working dog” and it made me tear up. Funny…I had such an unimaginably great trip but there was still a part of me missing all my babies. They are all such a big part of my life and I am so lucky to call this my career and come to Woofs everyday.

When I returned I got such wonderful Hellos….Squishy came over and rubbed all over me, Naeco made me laugh. She comes in and bolts outside. After she comes in and realizes I am here she went into full puppy loving mode and I reciprocated how happy I was to see her. Charlie R. “Flowerboy” leaped higher and higher and my smile just got bigger. My Squiggle butt did not stop for about 20 minutes. I have never seen her wiggle that much!!! There were so many and I have to say I missed each of them and was so happy to see them and love them up. I even got kisses and hugs from Squid!!!

Today there were moments that I wish you could all experience:

Gracee was on her back and as she was playing she began to howl. This was the cutest thing ever and I called Allex to share the moment. She was in her happiest moment ever!!

Sydney now has turned into out “little ladybug”. She is now always showing her belly and engaging anyone to play with her. Envision this:

She is mostly all body (white with black spots) and has these little legs thrashing in the  air aimlessly as she plays. It looks like a bug on their back trying to get up. She is adorable.

I always laugh as all the puppies try to engage our girl Apalla to play with them. Apalla is very popular and they all have to be patient until she chooses to engage them in Apalla play!!!

I am looking at our puppies smiling.

Woofs is home to the largest smiles in the canine community. Elmo and Max and Tiger are ear to ear smiles all day long!!! I love all the smiles and you can’t help but smile back.

Woofs Update:

I was nominated for Woman of Distinction Award.

ME!!

I do not classify myself in this category but am honored for the nomination. Thanks Liz!!!!

Web cams.

I know that camera 2 is down and I apologize. I am focusing on a possibility to add new web cameras that have full live streaming video. I hope to bring this to everyone so they can see everything. Would that not be terrific?? No promises but I will see if this is realistic.

New and improved obedience program.

I am excited to introduce a new obedience program. This is where all my focus has been for the past 3 months. I cannot brag enough about our program. I hope many of you participate in future classes. The focus of the classes is to connect with your dog and have a respectful relationship. Even skilled handlers will learn many new techniques and about canine body communication.

New Puppy Socialization Classes:

We are proud to introduce a class for puppies. It is offered biweekly and gives puppy owners a great opportunity to socialize their little one to other puppies, learn about body language, introduce them to novel stimuli such as noises, agility equipment and Shalin even made a board game with crazy things the puppy/ handlers teams must do.

Behavior Consults

I am very excited to restart one to one training in people houses.

I have worked with dogs for 14 years now and am so excited to help owners with behavior challenges. I address, diagnose and provide a skillset to owners having challenges including lunging, pulling, aggression and anxieties. I cannot cure the world but get a great deal of satisfaction assisting people understand their dogs problems and enabling them with a skill set that will help them cope and mange the behaviors more effectively.

Bye for now the dogs are howling and sharing their moments of happiness. I am just blessed to listen to their happy song and remember that these moments are precious and like every moment in time to appreciate what we have in life and not focus on what we feel we don’t have in life.

My daughter said the other day “Don’t be too happy Mom, You may throw up”. How funny is that!!

I pointed up to the moon and asked her to look at how perfect the moon was.

She looked up and smiled.

That smile is what life is all about The appreciation of a perfect moon (and sharing it together) brought a smile to both our faces.

Isn’t that simple.
