Hi Everyone

Today I want to start with saying that I read all of my entries and cannot believe how far Woofs has come. I giggled as I remembered the memories I am doing naptime and I wanted to welcome all our new Woofers and Wagglers. Our family keeps growing. I am looking at Cody R. and remembering when he was just 4 months old. He still is a puppy and will forever have that puppy face. I remember when he came to Woofs. He is so funny. Every visit he stands with his bum toward us when the vacuum comes out. It is part of our cleaning routine to include a vacuum of Cody. He never lets us forget!!!
The last 2 days I am watching the dogs and thinking WOW what a great bunch of friends!!! We have such awesome dogs and they cease to amaze me and the Aunties. I have mentioned “the corn cobbing” but when they are on the floor together and gently nibbling on each other it is like time stops and I wish I had a camera. It is amazing to watch them love each other. To watch them come in and lunge to their best friends and scream “hey bud what have you been up to…wanna play”. I enjoy watching them….
Today during a choir session I watched our newbie Kuri try to sing and her little head tilt upwards and be part of the choir. You should have seen her little mouth make a small circle to sing. It was so cute. I can tell she will be a singer with just a little practice Brandy gave me such a huge hello that it started my day with a big smile. I laughed out loud as Gracie and Bosco howled as the ambulance went by. What a riot. Their pitch is perfect. Today Cody R. and Gracee joined in. I will have to make sure they are inside when ambulances drive by
We talk about Woofs n Wags like our extended family. We are
Our Wagglers have a mom and dad. Their name is Buddy and Zoey. Our 2 schnauzers have been with us since conception. They survey the floor every Tuesday and Thursday and they monitor the play for the puppies. It is neat to watch as when the play is too hard the mom and dad come in and calm down the play for the safety of the puppies. It is incredible as they guide and monitor their Wagglers and it is their job We also take notice of the close relations that form between friends. We have 2 little ones that are “recent” brothers and to watch their fondness grow is very special. After 9 months they now curl up like little beans and the big brother Tissue lets the little brother Pita lean his head on him like a pillow.
Usually I end my diary with tearful thoughts. Today I end it with a CHALLENGE!! For the past year many of the Waggler mom and dads have been celebrating their little ones birthdays. They bring in cupcakes and homemade treats for everyone to share in the big day. It has been fantastic and it truly makes for a special day as everyone who gets a treat bag walks away with a smile and the dogs licking their lips TO THIS DAY NOT ONE WOOFERS MOM OR DAD has celebrated a birthday. Woofers moms and dads we challenge you to celebrate their birthdays They may be bigger but their day is special too and should be shared We challenge you all to bring in some treats for every pooch here to celebrate their birthdays. I guess we will see if one of you ever will Here is a picture of a Wagglers recent birthday celebration and the gift bags from Mischas parents to all of the Woofers and Wagglers:
The challenge is on but truly Woofs celebrates their day by giving extra love and singing them happy birthday. They are all special all of the time but a birthday is another reason to remind us of how lucky we are to have them and how many smiles they have given us through the years. Remember everyone that everyday is special and treasure all our special moments…from a smile to a tilt of their heads. From a tail waggle to a devoted stare into our eyes. All The moments they make us smile like giving them a vacuum of their bums They give us their lives and all they ask for is to share in ours
