Happy New Year
Happy Days to come
Thank you to everyone for such a great year. The holiday season has a new meaning for all of us at Woofs. Our family has become so large and full of hugs and licks!
Nobody has Christmas cards like we do. Each put a smile on our face. Many of our cards have pictures of our visitors and we are amazed at the poses we get. Texas all cuddled up and Casey with a wreath over his head, Bentley striking a model poses and family pictures with parents and furry kids.
All our Aunties got spoiled by so many of you and we can’t thank you enough. It humbles us how many of you think of us during the holiday season. You all mean so much to us and we really are overwhelmed by all the thoughts filled with chocolates, homemade cookies and individual gifts. Thank you so much!
I can’t explain why but this year seemed more special. I think because of the new building and who is in it. The decorations were beautified, Christmas collars and sweaters were adorned, and it seemed so much more like a home.
I am often caught with a tear in my eye and this season I had so many tears of happiness. Hugging Max and Piper and Gracee and too many to mention just remind all the Aunties and me how great “our jobs” are.

Our presenter has been involved in dog training and behavior for 10 years and an instructor at Woofs ‘n Wags for the past 4 ½ years. Combined with her vast experience with dogs she is also a registered nurse in the prenatal intensive care unit.
I am proud to introduce Shalin. She has a broad understanding of dog behavior. She is committed to educating others and promoting a better understanding of dog behavior and a healthier human to dog relationship.
Woofs ‘n Wags is committed to moving forward as part of a community to educate dog owners and assist in improving the relationship and understanding between dog owners and dogs.
This entry I want to end with a thank you to all the Aunties for being part of the Woofs family.
Thank you Allex for singing to the dogs each day and sharing your special bond with each of our visitors. You have been part of Woofs for four years and your love and special understanding and empathy for the dogs is amazing. You epitomize what an Auntie is.
Thank you Ramona for the past 2 years. When I first met you I knew that you were the person for Woofs. I let go of 2 people to bring you on board because I felt you had a special connection and understanding of dogs. My feeling was right as you go beyond to not only understand each of their personalities but to respect and nurture them. Your leadership and commitment is invaluable.
Thanks Victoria. Your endless love of dogs is not surpassed by any. You may be in University to rehabilitate people but we all know that because of the Woofs visitors that you will find your career cultivating that passion with dogs. We are proud to be part of that and that you are part of us. Apologize to your parents for us.
Holly is our newest Auntie who joined us from another daycare. We welcome you Holly. Holly has learned that our level of dedication and understanding of dogs is unsurpassed. It is not easy to be a Woofs Auntie and it can be daunting at first. You have done a great job and the day I knew you were one of us is when you said you would adopt one of our Wagglers if they needed a home. That is what makes a Woofs employee an Auntie!
I look around at who makes up Woofs and I have never been prouder. Thanks to all our Aunties. You are who Woofs is!
Happy New Year and I do not have any new years resolutions. Simply put…….I would not change a thing!!!
