Happy New Year Everyone!!!

We hope everyone had a great holiday season!!

We were so spoiled this year. Thank you for all the gift cards, wine, flowers, chocolates, pictures….Everyday I am blessed to be part of all our visitors lives and that we thank everyone for. The fact that the parents are thanking us blows me away. We are so thankful to all of you every day!!!
We are having a great season and it is all because of our visitor. Nothing says warm wishes than hugs, cuddles, licks and bum bumps!!! The love we get every day makes every day special!!!
We have some new Woofers to welcome with big smiles and lots of smiles to add to our group. Some of our Big smiles are Beau, Calli, Cosmo, Benny, Bauer and Moka. There are many more but these one are real smilers!!
We have some great playing happening these days. IT IS CRAZY FUN
Diego has joined our Woofers and he came in with the biggest baby eyes and baby attitude. I tried to explain that he is a Doberman but he really does not understand What a special boy. His style is simple…smile…paw at them…but bum swing….run and smile! Then the game is on.
What I like best is when new dogs come in and how they are received by our “more seasoned” visitors. At first they are often snubbed. Reason ofcourse is they are “Newbies” and our seasoned dogs have their own “clicks”. I love to watch the “Newbies” introduce themselves..so timid and respectful and go about their business and play with other friends. The magical moment is when they win over the “cool group” and then it is like they have been initiated and welcomed. It is as though now they “have permission to join the pack”.
I love when the more seasoned ones play with newbie. Today Rufus played with Jasper and we all watched and got warm inside
There are so many of these moments. We also have times when it takes months for friends to find each other. It is fascinating to watch the social groups.
The Blonde squad has grown with Beau, Oliver, Bauer, Maggie, Felix, Murphy, Charlotte, Daisy…. Our blonde squad is HUGE!!! This group is happy go lucky, welcoming, joyous, frolicky and zoomy.
This group makes us giggle ALL THE TIME!!!

Anyhow I guess I am going on and on….

Today I went to visit our Wagglers. I cannot believe how adorable this group is. They are so special. I love visiting them because they make me smile..I cannot describe the feeling of going to the lower level and all these little ones greeting me and being on the floor and being covered with love!!! They are so special and so loving. Anyone who is ever having a bad day would welcome a group of Wagglers!!! Nobody could possibly be in a bad mood with a house full of love!!! I think that anyone in the mental health field should prescribe a day full of Waggler to remedy anyone’s troubles. It may not be a permanent fix but to give a day of love fixes anyone’s troubles and places smiles on their face and a warm spot in their heart!!! Oprah should experience it and host it on her show
Perhaps I will write her

I leave this entry with a lump in my throat. I look at all our dogs and I cannot get enough. I am speechless. At this moment I am watching Cosmo at my feet with his big black eyes and Stella at my side. Daisy poking for attention from Gracee and Charlie waggling his tail. Jazz is coming for loves and Jasper is initiating play with Diego. This is one moment in daycare and every moment is special and worth a moment to stop and take in the pleasure of being surrounding with happiness and pure moments of joy. I am a lucky person!!!
