A Woof n Wag to everyone.

There is so much to talk about!

We had our spectacular bbq for some of our Woofers and Wagglers parents. It was so great. I have attached some pictures below.  There are also over 200 pictures on our Facebook page so please go and visit it.

The venue was ideal at Brick’s house and we can’t thank Terry enough for offering his yard for our 2 events :)

Sorry for the delay in getting everything up but our crazy shutter shooting Auntie Candace took over 1200 pictures to sort through and that took some time :)

The Woofers was our first party. There were about 20 Woofers and parents. It was so much fun. Of course we all had a blast! It was so nice to see them outside of daycare. Most of them did not stop!! There were zoomies in the forested area and I swear the ground was moving and people standing had to watch out :) The Woofers were so happy and the smiles were straight across the field!!! Smiles from the dogs and the parents :) Having this opportunity to spend some time with the parents was great. I wish I had more time but making sure the food was plentiful took quite a bite out of my time. Next time I will have it catered (just kidding). The food was great and the company the best. Moments to remember:

During the Zoomies some parents were in “shock” as the Aunties yelled “woohoo” . A quote to remember during the zoomies everyone is “BEND YOUR KNEES”!!!!!

When Brandys mom met the dog who has had a crush on Brandy. His name is Deuce and he has it bad for Brandy. It is funny to watch the big black shepherd following Brandy around meekishly like a puppy dog :)

The labradoodle parents as they arrived and met one another and “conspiring” to not admit to owning the labradoodles that are jumping around :) They are the happiest of them all :)

I think the best moment was how well everyone socialized and got to know other Woofers and their parents :)

BTW what is it about Shepherd people instantly find other Shepherd owners and sticking together???

Waggler party was next and that was so different from the Woofers party. There was about 20 Wagglers who came out to play. They had a blast and it was another great time!!!

Memorable moments:

When many of the Wagglers arrived they shot to the Aunties first to give hugs and kisses. Shaye also got special attention from a few and seeing her with Cadbury was special :)

During lunch Texas reached (stretched) to the table and starting licking the burgers!!!! What makes this funnier is that it took a Waggler to countersurf but yet the Woofers (who as tall as the table) never touched the food!!!! It takes a beagle!!!

The Wagglers are fast and sneaky. Our Blaine hung around and calmly waited for the opportunity. As fast as lightning bit into someones burger and ran away :)

The forested area for the Wagglers was a blast but it posed a concern on occasion as little ones are not as easily seen as the Woofers. There were “search parties” to locate the little ones as they played and explored :)

The last to mention was our Oscar. He felt he should be in the house and for long periods of time he just stood up at the door waiting for someone to let his highness into the house :) It was really funny to watch :)

Our clients are fantastic and the dogs are the best!! This was our opportunity to thank everyone and get to know everyone better. We hope this becomes an annual event and we look forward tour next get together. The picture below is “Fred”. He arrived on Monday after the Woofer party. Can you imagine having a balloon dog arrive at your front door!!! We were giggling and shocked as we thank Summers mom who sent Fred to us with a note apologizing for not attending the party!! WOW our clients are the best!!

What can we say we start everyday with a smile and that day with an extra smile.

New at Woofs.

Birthday parties for dogs!!!

Yes I have reached new limits and boundaries. It has been one of my dreams to start birthdays for dogs for about 8 years. We are hosting our first one in less than a month :) The cake will be dished out and let the guests play :) We are so excited!!!

I will eventually have all the details on the site when I do a revamping. That is soon to come and long overdue :)

Auntie Candace brightened our kennel :) None of you will probably ever see our little fire hydrant bag dispensers. They are so cute and they were made just for Woofs. When I go our to the kennel it puts a teehee in the day. They may sell them if they are asked.

Now to daycare days:

There are so many moments that each and every day all of the Aunties giggle. As I am sitting here I hear both Aunties giggling away. It makes me smile to share in the happiness we are filled with by each and every visitor.

Today I was watching Sydney and Cassie on the ground together and just gnawing on each other. They are so loving and playful to one another. If I had ever was asked what is the most special moments in daycare I would have to say when the dogs lay down and play. All you see is teeth in the air and total happiness expressed. Yesterday it was Haze and Casey. They are big dogs with bigger puppy hearts. To watch  them roll on the ground is so incredible. It is hard to describe but those are the moments that overfill our hearts!!!

Everyday as our visitors come in my smile gets bigger and bigger. I love asking them how they are and telling them who is waiting for them and watching them run to their friends. I could list a thousand moments.

Today Benson comes in and Keeley instantly runs up butt bumps and bites her friend until he responds in puppy play.

Shelby grabs Duffy’s tail until he has no choice but to play.

Apalla arrives and the line up is waiting for private play sessions. She gets barks, nips and bumps as they try to get her to play.

Casey arrives to best Bailey jumping up and grabbing her throat to commence the play.

Peeshko seeing Cadbury arrive and the jumping begins.

The cutes of all today is our Seven greeting each and every friend with a  mouth full of smootches :)

Each day we look forward to all these moments and how close our visitors have become and how many friends they have made. To watch them play every day I know it makes me not only smile but appreciate how simple life is and how easy dogs put love into our lives.

I am double blessed as I watch my Daughter smile and play and share in the joy of being around dogs, loving them and respecting them. She is only 4 and a half but it astounds me how much she understands. She is great with being bowled over and gentle with the ones that need a bit of space. She has even helped many grow out of being cautious with kids. She is also takes advantage of those that let her. She loves to dress them. Hug them and decorate them. Here are a few pictures of her decorating dogs.
