Our New Home!

I am back online. I have mastered the website
Thanks to everyone. Team Woofs took home the plague for raising the most pledges. We raised $1468.00!! What a great event. The weather was perfect and it was so much fun to see everyone out on the walk.
Our Move.
What a summer and fall We are finally in our new home and will be here for decades to come. In summary there is not one wall standing from the previous owners. Everything was taken down and redesigned. A special thank you to Brendon who took on this huge project and kept a smile on his face each time I saw him. I promised myself never to move again! Our new location is awesome. The design is catered to our furry family. We have countless upgrades. This includes:
Sealed flooring
White on every wall
Outdoor building for potty and play time
Central vac. Can’t say enough about this feature as the odor and contagions are sucked out of the building!
Upgraded ventilation
Etc.
Sorry we did not have an opportunity to host our annual barbecue. I will make up for it next fall It has just been a very busy summer and fall.
I want to thank all the Aunties for taking such great care of everything. I could not have done it without all of them. They are all amazing! Thanks! I have not spent a lot of time with the dogs the past few months as I have been so busy. This has made me sad. It says a lot about who works at Woofs when you know the home front is MORE than taken care of.
Now I can highlight some moments in the new Woofs….
The dogs love it here!!! The design is made for them and they love the new space. Murphy came in today waggling like crazy. His mom said “He is so happy”. Murphy is extra happy at our new location. Many of them are Murphy is wiggling and waggling and has the biggest smile I have ever seen him share.
I feel like I am finally back. I stood in the daycare yesterday and could not stop smiling. I watched them run and play and use the zoomie wall. I was overwhelmed with happiness. There are no words to describe the feeling of knowing I am exactly where I should be. I looked over at Allex on the floor being smothered by hundreds of pounds of love and Ramona with her 3 shepherds sitting in front of her looking at “their goddess”. It was a perfect moment.
The office is open for all of them to visit as I do my work. Charlie shares my chair with me. He loves that I have a normal sized office chair that he can hop up and snuggle with me All the dogs are in the office with me right now. Murphy is smiling, Charlie is on my chair, Brick is under the desk, Casey is curled up like a little dog. There is Fergus making his way in for love and each of them are taking turns sharing their smiles.
Thank you everyone as I have finally found a permanent space to call home. Our home is filled with smiles every moment………….what a great life………
Waggler update
It is not just the happy Woofers but the Wagglers are equally as happy. I have to share a funny story.
Moving in the “outdoor dog house” was intended for the Woofers. The aunties on the first day put the Wagglers in the dog house and they have never left. They love it. Their faces were like “yes a covered potty are…I always deserved this!!” They love having no rain, wind or any elements on them as they have their private enclosed potty area. I have resigned to listen to the Wagglers and the Aunties and leave the dog house to the Wagglers. It makes me laugh. I think all little dogs should have an enclosed potty area. They are such a funny little group that equally puts smiles on my face.
Their level is awesome. The space is large and they have a really nice bedroom for nap time. They have all the great upgrades like central vac and white walls…the Aunties are so happy about this. Their bedroom for nap time has a cubby for them to curl up in and it is PERFECT:).
They are loving it
Just like our Woofer Murphy the Wagglers are coming in extra happy and excited. I never thought they could be happier…they are! Super Cooper, Blaine and many more can’t wait to come in and play.
I can’t say enough about the happy level and our new Waggler Dog House!!!
