From Auntie Candace:

As I sit here on the floor watching my little Wagglers run around like maniacs, I am reminded what a great job I have. I love watching little Wagglers like 4 pound Mischa or 5 pound Ackbar playing with bigger Wagglers 15 – 20 pounders and all I can say is AAAAHHHHH!!!!!

Since the expansion downstairs “the Race Track” is open for business At least once a day it is “The Indy 500” with 8-10 dogs in the race!! It is the best to see them run. The so fast!!!

I have come to love them all like they are my own. At this moment I am watching Ackbar and Meeka play one on top and one on the bottom. They equally keep changing their positions. It is so cute how they all pair off and play so great with each other.. They all have “best friends” and it is great to see them when they see their best friends. The other day “Mischa “ and “Pita” saw each other and I started to sing “REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD”

NAPTIME:
I have to brag a little about naptime. I start getting the room ready aat noon. They all get excited At 12:30 I open the gate and they all rum in to get “their spots”. Tissue, Pita, Venice, Winston, Charlie, Ackbar, Brooksey and Espresso all love to sleep on me. It could be on my head, on my chest, curled up in my arms or on my legs. On the really cold winter days I look forward to those dogs as they keep me toastee and warm Other like Buddy, Zoey, Zoe, Lincold, Pippin, Meeka, Mischa and Benji like to sleep touching part of me. It is so funny when some of my Wagglers try to play at the beginning of nap and they lose “their spot”. They look soooo sad when they realize another has “stolen their spot”.

If hugs and kisses were money I would be the richest lady. I get covered in kisses and hugs all day long. Boy do I have a hard job (hahahah).

I would have to say the best part of my job is seeing the shy or nervous dogs come in and grow into confident social dogs

I welcomed Sydney a little Rotti puppy who was very shy and nervous with others. After 3-4 visits she started playing with Maggie May. Sidney became so social she “graduated” to the Woofers 3 weeks ahead of schedule

Another shy one named Mya hid in a cornr for 4-5 visits. On the 5
th visit she walked through the pack to come to me. 2 visits later she was playing up a storm. Our shy little Mya turned out to be a Heavy Hitter

You all have amazing dogs and I feel honored to know each and every one of them :)
